In today's Nigeria, it's quite hard for candidates to gain admission into University of Abuja or any other universities as a result of the increasing large number of applicants every year.
However, there are some ways to facilitate your admission into your preferred university. These include: Predegree also known as Remedial in Uniabuja, IJMB (gain admission into 200level without jamb).
I will be focusing on Remedial in our prestigious institution (University of Abuja).
Applications for a successful admission into Uniabuja Remedial/Predegree programme is currently ongoing and the registration will close on 25th of May. So if you're a science student and you're writing Jamb this year, then below are few reasons why you should apply for the program before the closing date:
✓. If you write jamb and score nothing less than 180, and have a minimum of C in mathematics, English and any of Biology or Physics in your 1st semester and second semester Remedial examinations. You'll be admitted.
✓. If you're aspiring for Medicine, then you need to have an A all through in your Remedial exams coupled with a 270+ in jamb for you to get MBBS 100%. But if you don't, you're definitely getting any of Agric, Microbiology, Biology or any other closely related courses.

Thank you for the update! Please what is the remedial subjects combination for MBBS?
All Remedial students including mbbs will do mathematics, English, physics and chemistry during the 1st and 2nd semester of the Remedial. But in jamb mathematics is not required for medicine

You may not get medicine with 197. Even with remedial and connection. But with remedial, you will get a different course

NRN is accepted but doesn't guarantee admission.

Yes. But there is no nursing for now in Uniabuja. Only medicine and veterinary medicine
